We’re looking for a talented and creative writer to join our multimedia publishing business in Newcastle.

Collaborating with our editorial and commercial departments, you’ll play a key role in pitching ideas for exciting, engaging and effective native content for ChronicleLive.

The role involves matching the needs of our business partners with those of our readers to create sponsored content campaigns which are effective in reaching audiences, while remaining compliant with all industry codes.

You’ll meet clients directly, and have a skill for understanding their needs and matching them to your own creative ideas. As the role is key to generating commercial revenue, you’ll be bonused on financial outcomes.

You’ll be either a qualified journalist or have a minimum of two years PR or content marketing experience.You will have a good knowledge of how content is shared and promoted through social media.

You will be digitally focused and creative. 

You’ll understand the compliance issues regarding paid-for content, and will possess strong presentation and customer service skills. Great attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to think on your feet under deadline pressure are also essential.
